Carolyn Ann Ames was born April 21, 1953 to Orville and Opal Green in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away July 25, 2011 in her sleep at her home near Collins, Missouri.
Carolyn was united in marriage to Ed Ames on March 15, 1974 at the First Church Of The Nazarene in Granite City, Illinois.
Carolyn was a faithful member of the Wheatland Church Of The Nazarene in Wheatland, Missouri. She led congregational singing and was blessed with a wonderful singing voice. She sang many special songs.
Carolyn was blessed with a compassionate spirit. She gave of herself and wanted nothing in return. She had to be forced to think of herself.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband Ed; father Orville Green; 1 son, Brian sister Linda Kohler and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Opal Green.
