Bailey, JR., William “Bill” April 15, 1924 - December 24, 2011

William “Bill” Bailey, Jr. was born April 15, 1924 in Bethel, Kansas to William H. and Dovie (Carr) Bailey. He passed away December 24, 2011 at his home in Osceola, Missouri.

Bill was blessed in life to have been married to Rosethel “Rosie” (Hobbs) Bailey for 69 years and 4 months. They were blessed with one son. Billy Joe Bailey of Osceola.

He was a member of the military in World War II. He was so happy to get to go on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. on November 15. He worked for Ford Motor Company of Claycomo, Missouri for 30 1/2 years. He retired to Bennett Springs in 1978. They moved to Weaver’s Campground and there they both worked for Jerry and Brenda Miller until January 2010. Then in May 2011 he moved to Osceola. He was a member of the Lowry City Masonic Lodge #403 and the Scottish Rite.

Bill is survived by his wife of the home; son Joe and wife Sandy of Osceola; grandsons, Steven Bailey of Peculiar, Scott Bailey and wife Jenny of Peculiar, Kelly and wife Christina of Peculiar, Mike and wife Penny of Clinton; great grandchildren, Nicole, Stephanie, Lane, Darian, Hunter, Ryan and Katie; great-great grandsons, Cayden and Cayson and many, many friends, he never knew a stranger
