Amber Dawn Baker was born October 4, 1983 and tragically passed away on January 28, 2025. Amber was a graduate of El Dorado Springs High School Class of 2002. During her short life, Amber was a happy, loving and caring person. Her recent days were spent drawing and working outdoors. Some of Amber’s other interests included being an avid fisherman, visiting Branson, MO and supporting the Kansas City Chiefs. Anyone who knew Amber knew that her love for the Kansas City Chiefs started at a very young age due to her close relationship with her Uncle Mike (Hamer).
As a young child Amber was fierce and unstoppable. If she set her mind to it, she accomplished it and she wasn’t afraid to stick up for what she believed in. These qualities followed her into her young adult life where she worked in multiple industries always wanting to learn new skill sets.
Amber is survived by her husband Jeffrey Baker, of the home, who she happily wed in 2016. She was also survived by her parents, Ken and Lori Helm, Mother-in-law Patsy Baker, Brother Matthew (Kaitlin) Helm, Grandma Joy Scott, Brother-in-law Tim Baker, Ed (Melissa) Baker, and Sister-in-law Shelia (Jason), along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces and nephews.
Amber is preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents Dave and Beverly Phillips, Aunt Cheryl (sis) Popken, Paternal Grandpa Bob Helm, Uncle Mike (Hamer) Helm, Father-in-law Alfred Baker and Uncle Buzz Baker.
