Celeste Mignon Blackwell was born May 5, 1950, the 5th child of Arnold and Martha (Ford) Heman in Levasy, Missouri. She passed away on January 2, 2025.
Celeste graduated in 1969 from Sherwood High School. Soon after she met and married on November 22, 1970, Gary Blackwell and together they had one child, Will Blackwell.
She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Martha, her in-laws Guenn Blackwell and Helen Blackwell Britton, sisters: Joyce Williams, and an infant sister Cheryl, brother in-laws: Gale Stotlemyre, David Williams, and Joseph Sardello, a sister in-law Gwendolyn Sardello, nieces: Lindsey Heman, Debbie Stotlemyre, Tieracy Brown, and nephews: Lee Mantonya and Brad Sargent.
Her memory lives on through her family, her husband Gary, son Will (Kristi) of Hanford, CA, grandchildren: Haidyn Celeste, Easton James, and Madisyn Marie Blackwell, her sisters: Cecelia (Sherman) Thompson, Cheri (Larry) Simpson, Chris (Norman) Mantonya, brothers: Daryl (Linda) Heman, Dana (Debbie) Heman, sister in-laws: Nelda (Newt) Brillhart of Lowry City, MO, Glynnes (Bob) Sargent of Pierre, SD, a brother in-law Rex Blackwell of Whitewood, SD, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
