Long before she was a beloved wife, mother, and friend, she was the beautiful daughter of Don and Marge Moran. Born on August 14, 1956, she was the only girl of 4 children.  She passed away July 11, 2019 at her home in Osceola, Missouri.

She was born and grew up in Lowry City, Missouri. After graduating from Lowry City High School, Lenora worked at the Lowry City Bank and went on to become a lab tech at Sac Osage Hospital. She was united in marriage to Ron Booker on October 16, 1982 and they have spent the last 37 years raising their 2 children, Jeremy and Jami and growing their family. Lenora spent most of her career as the right-hand to Ron, working to grow their business, Booker Auction. They have spent years building their roots in the community running auctions out of their building in Clinton and at many on-site auctions. Over the last 3 years, Lenora finished her career working at the Osceola health department.

When not working an auction, Lenora was often found on Truman Lake with friends and family. She loved going for a boat ride and finding a good spot to fish – she was the best fisherman of all of us! Once summertime was over, you could find her rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs or headed to the casino to throw a few coins in a slot machine. Those who were fortunate enough to know Lenora would tell you that she was one of the most kind-hearted, joyful, and genuine people you would ever know. She smiled with her whole heart, was quick to laugh and would do anything for those she cared about. She was simply beautiful, inside and out.

Lenora was preceded in death by her father, Don Moran and father-in-law, Bennie Booker, as well as her grandson, Isaac Tyson.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Ron Booker. Also, her children Jeremy Booker and his wife, Crysti and Jami Tyson and significant other, Jeremy Bosworth. Grandchildren: Levi, Hunter and Cassie Booker, Adam Tyson and Jeremy Bosworth.

Dear Ron, I know that you will miss her dearly. I had the honor of knowing Lenora for only a few short years and will miss her greatly. Never a harsh word, always kind and gentle. My prayers are for you and the family as you learn to grieve in your own way. She fought the good fight and has finished the race. Ron, your dedication to her and the care you provided was admirable. I feel very blessed to have known her and you, God Bless, Joyce Nichols

Lenora and I were in class together for 8 years. Even though it was many years ago, I still feel like a bit of my life has a gap in it. Ron, you and the kids are on my mind, in my prayers, and being constantly talked about in regards to you, Ron, being one the best things to ever happen to Lenora. I loved her as one does a childhood classmate, but you rocked her world.
I know that it is your world that has been rocked the past months and days. I pray that you all will write down the memories of Lenora as things come to mind. Sometimes you will laugh, sometimes cry, and sometimes you will just wonder. Your family and friends love you. Reach out to any of us anytime you need.
    Sincerely,
    Paul McCarthy
