Betty Joan Burkhart, 91 of East Lynne Mo was born December 31, 1930, the daughter of Maurice Richard and Josephine K. (Spickard) Leaman. She departed this life, Saturday December 17, 2022, two weeks shy of her 92nd birthday.
Betty grew up in the Osceola, Missouri area and graduated from Osceola High School.
On August 28th 1949 Betty was united in marriage to Frank Burkhart in Osceola, Missouri. She was a housewife and a sales representative for Avon.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Barbara Redinger, her brothers Paul, Joseph and William Leaman, her granddaughter Jammie C. Arnold and her husband of 39 years, Frank Burkhart.
She is survived by daughters Marsha K. Fisher (husband Bobby) and Lynne C. Arnold. Sons Randy F. Burkhart (wife Tami), Richard L. Burkhart (wife Beth), Roger A. Burkhart and Russell C. Burkhart (wife Trina). 16 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
