Sherry Ann Burns 77 of Osceola, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2025.
Sherry was born on July 29, 1948, to Evalee Higgins Nunn Taylor and Alvin Nunn. She was adopted in 1949 by Paul and Nelly (Tipton) Lenauer.
She graduated from Mineral Wells, TX and went to college at State Technical College of Missouri in Linn, MO.
She sold Kirby vacuums in Texas after becoming a mother. She worked at King Radio in Paola, KS before moving to Osceola with Danny to help run the Osceola RV Park. She had a green thumb and loved to garden. They grew and sold tomatoes at the farmer’s markets around the area after they moved to Collins, MO.
Sherry married Daniel Paul Burns in 1980 and they adopted one son during their 38 years of marriage. She was previously married to Johnny Allen Kraft with whom she shared three children with.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, her husband Danny Paul Burns, great grandson Gage Alexander Kraft, and great granddaughter Willow Graceann Rose Troxel.
Sherry is survived by her children Cheryl Diane Kraft, Johnny Alan Kraft (Nova), Paul Edward Kraft (Crystal), and adopted son Anthony Dean Kraft (Charlotte). She leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
