Winifred Burrow was born on June 30th, 1932, in Roscoe, Missouri to Carl Gresham and Goldie (Rickman) Gresham and passed away on September 5th, 2024, in Frisco, Texas. Winnie was the youngest of four sisters: Lelia, Miriam, and Betty who, along with her parents, proceeded her in death.

She met the love of her life, Bobby “Ike” Burrow in the 1940’s when they were schoolmates at Roscoe School. She and Ike were married on April 22nd, 1950. Winnie and Ike spent sixty-two wonderful years together, before his passing in 2013. Her exemplary care for Ike during his final years served as an example of the depth of their love and devotion.

In 1960, their son Carl was born to this union.

Winnie was known first for her faith and second for her love of family. Her talents were immeasurable; best remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a fantastic cook and entertainer, immaculate housekeeper, a savvy businesswoman with an amazing work ethic.

She enjoyed an illustrious career, spanning 50 years at what is now known as Diary Concepts, before retiring in 2001.Winnie called the El Dorado Springs area home for 92 years, before moving to Frisco, Texas in July 2024 to be closer to her family so they could care for her.

She is survived by Carl and wife Lindy, grandsons Ryan Burrow, Jordan Burrow and wife Kim and great-grandson, Miles Burrow, and adopted grandson Rick Bridger, all from the Dallas, Texas area. Additionally, she leaves behind a loving family and great friends whom she cherished.
