Christopher Robert Case, 29, joined his heavenly father on April 17, 2025.
Christopher was born a true gift. Entering this world on the snowiest Christmas Eve, December 24, 1995. The darkest tufts of hair and tiny features quickly won over the hearts of his young family members who would rather have been waiting up for Santa Claus at home, than in the Osceola Hospital that night.
Christopher spent his youngest years playing in the dirt and finding adventure. Many daredevil little accidents left enough bruises and scrapes to earn him the nickname “Crash” from his family. That name quickly disappeared with the arrivals of his younger siblings who lovingly, and a bit teasingly, still call him “Perfer”.
Christopher enjoyed his time at the Weaubleau Schools from kindergarten to senior year. There, his classmates became his lifelong friends, and he graduated from Weaubleau High School surrounded by those friends and family in 2014.
After graduation, Chris had already learned many trades. He often travelled to weld, build, and do a bit of cowboying. His knack for mechanical work was learned at his father’s side and he was often on the lookout for bikes, trucks and just about anything with a small engine that had some potential. He could never turn down a good Facebook marketplace deal!
Christopher was blessed to spend time being doted on by his great great grandparents Homer and Bessie Garrison during their lifetime. He now joins Homer & Bessie, Great Grandfather Jerold Garrison, Great Granny Patsy Garrison, Grandma “Birdie” Robin Ann Garrison, Grandma Allona Case and Grandpa Lavern Case in enteral peace.
Christopher’s memory will be kept alive in this time by his mother Amy Case. Father Jesse Case. Siblings: Jessica (Josh), Emma and Carter. His nieces Madison and Mackenzie Walker. His partner Aubree Jones. His beloved dog June.
Chris will be remembered most fondly as a person who was authentically himself. A genuine young man with quick wit and a sensitive heart. A loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend. The daredevil ways of his childhood shaped him into a courageous and humble man. He was a risk taker with a bit of a smart mouth. He loved time out on the water in the summer time. He loved country music. His sweet tooth was the biggest tooth in his head. He could make a mean stack of midnight pancakes. Next time you pull a gallon of Best Choice Chocolate ice cream out of the freezer, smile and think of him.
The family and friends of Christopher will gather at 5:00pm at the Coon Creek Church in Collins, Missouri on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, to both mourn and celebrate his extraordinary life.
Christopher fought against cancer for much of his life, being first diagnosed at the tender age of 4 years old. Although one could say he lost the battle, he won the ultimate prize of a life well lived and well loved. In lieu of flowers, please considering making a donation to the Coon Creek Church in his honor.
