Charles Edwin Davis was born January 24, 1942, to AJ and Helen (Lawson) Davis.

Charles, also known as “Chuck”, was the oldest of 5 boys. He attended school at Iconium and Lowry City where he graduated with the class of 1960. After graduating he left Lowry City and held various jobs in the Kansas City area as well as in California. His favorite job was as we all know was SELLING CARS!    In the 48 years that he was in business he sold 1000’s of them. Chuck returned to Lowry City in 1977. He married Kathy Barnes and they opened Chuck’s Auto Sales. Their last day of business was December 31, 2025.

The best part of his life was being a grandpa to all of  his many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, most of which he taught to hunt and fish.

In 2001, Chuck and Kathy built a house on a farm east of town that they had purchased from his Aunt Ethleen.  They also built a one acre pond in the back yard. Most of the grandkids came down and visited often to go fishing and to hunt in the wooded areas of the farm.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, AJ and Helen; brothers, Allen, A Joe and Dean; an infant daughter, Susan.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughters, Debbie Baker, Lisa (Bill) Crooks, and Rosa Jacobs;  brother, Dennis Davis; two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Dillon, that they adopted when they were only two and three years old, as well as all of those other grandchildren that he was so proud of.
