Christopher Joseph Powell Jr. was born on December 20, 1986, to Karen McBride Foster and Chris Powell, in Osceola, Missouri. He passed away December 25, 2025 in Clinton, Missouri.
Chris graduated High School in 2006, where he enjoyed playing football and track, (but not running).
Chris was a guy who knew a little bit about everything, and liked to think he was always right. He liked to figure out the inner workings of everything, even if it meant taking stuff apart, that wasn’t even broken. His favorite job of all, was working at Wilder RV, until his health declined.
In 2014 he met the love of his life, Kaila Collins, and together they built their family. He spent his time watching their kids grow up, and really enjoyed being able to watch and coach his boys in sports. One of their favorite past times was going to their favorite fishing hole.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Foster, and his grandfather, Raymond McBride.
He is survived by his father, Chris (Mary) Powell; stepfather, Mike Foster; sisters, Kayla (John) Neale, Aerial (Cody) Myrtle, Bailey (Colton) Hobbs, Shawna (Joshua) Jackson, and Courtney DeGhelder; brothers, Scott (Kyleigh) Foster, Josh (Brooklyn) Foster, and Zack (Darlena) Cooper; fiancé, Kaila Collins; children Aidin Powell, Tristin Powell, Micheal (Caela) Dehart, Hailea (Alex) Dehart; his cherished grandson, Damon, and coming soon baby Camron; grandparents, Mary McBride, Joan (Jim) Deatherage, Richard (Dorothy) Powell; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
