Jack Edward Clark Jr. was born August 29, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri to Jack Edward and Doris Marie (Bussell) Clark. He passed away suddenly from a heart attack on May 20, 2025, in Osceola, Missouri.
Jack grew up in Kansas City, Missouri with his three sisters and went to Center school. He joined the service was in the United States Army for 4 years and during that time he was in the Vietnam war. When he returned home, he had his daughter in 1975, Danielle Chastain Schooler.
Jack worked for the American Royal in Kansas City for several years. He moved to Roscoe, Missouri and owned the Blue Cat Bar with his friend Sue Smith. Later he met Mindy Coleman, and they shared over 10 happy years together. Jack adored Mindy’s 3 children: James Harbison, David Stapleton and Veanna Hutchinson as well as her 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandbaby.
Jack was known to be found on the river fishing often. He participated in many school fundraisers, raising money while having fun, and always donated any money he won back to the kids. Jack never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. He had the biggest heart and can always recall the stories he would tell about his dad and uncles having fun when they were younger.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Doris Clark, siblings: Jimmy Dale Clark, Jerry Lee Clark, and Nancy Romi, a grand-daughter Klaudia Vandivier, cousins: Allen Clark, and Cora Bell Brown.
Jack is survived by his daughter Danielle, her 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his significant other Mendy Coleman and her children as well as 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandbaby, fishing buddies John Wood, Robert Hergesheimer, Butch Hammond, Mike Perry and Adam, his dog Peaire, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
His legend will live on.
