Clifford Lee Hawn

Clifford Lee Hawn was born on April 11, 1947, in Nevada, Missouri to John E. and Vivian (Schmidt) Hawn.  He passed away February 12, 2026, in Bolivar, Missouri at the age of 78 due to complications from kidney failure.
Clifford was united in marriage to Sharon Kay Boin on November 20, 1965.  To this union, two children were born: Conway Leslie Hawn and Cheryl Lynn Thompson.  Clifford and Sharon were married for 58 years before Sharon’s death in November 2024.
Clifford was a graduate of El Dorado Springs High School, class of 1965.  Throughout his lifetime, he worked several different jobs including as a truck driver hauling rock during the construction of Stockton Lake, radio disk jockey for KDKD in Clinton, Missouri and KESM in El Dorado Springs (during which time he received a personalized promo from Loretta Lynn for his radio show), as a crop insurance adjuster, as the bus supervisor for the El Dorado Springs school district and as a custom hay baler.
Clifford was a member of the Caplinger Mills Baptist Church when he died where he was a deacon and trustee of the church.  He was also a member of the International Harvester Collectors Club and collected nearly 40 different IH Farmall Tractors during his lifetime.
In his spare time, Clifford enjoyed tinkering with his tractors, working on his farm, taking care of his numerous farm cats and mushroom hunting every April during morel mushroom season.  Clifford was always up for a card game of pitch, which he loved playing with friends and family.
Clifford was preceded in death by his wife Sharon and his parents, John E. and Vivian (Hawn) Green.
He is survived by both his children, Conway Hawn and wife Heather, and Cheryl Thompson and husband Kevin, and his grandchildren, Clifford Hawn, Christian Hawn, and Gaige Coleman.
