It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cynthia Marie (Dieckman) Colley, who departed this life peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025, at her home. She was the wife of James (Jim) R. Colley. She was born on August 20, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan.

She retired in April 2011, as Office Manager of Construction Industry Local 663. Prior places of employment were the Blue Springs School district and H &R Block.

Cindy leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion to her family. She is survived by the love of her life, James R. Colley, parents Richard R. & Jeanette M. Dieckman, brother Richard (Rick) Dieckman, sister Bonny (Dieckman) Burks husband Darryl, nieces: Emily (Burks) Slack husband Tom, Melissa (Colley) Teeple husband Frank, and Alaina (Colley) Hart husband Lucas, nephews: Michael Walker wife Brittani, Robert Thomas, Christopher Dieckman wife Alissa, and Adam Burks and wife Meredith. Along with several great nieces, nephews, and many friends.

An individual of remarkable character, Cindy was known for her vibrant personality bringing joy to those around her. She cherished companionship and held dear moments spent with family and friends. She loved cooking, embroidering, and enjoying time outdoors, particularly at the beach, or RVing across the country.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center-Hospice at https://www.jhccenter.org/make-a-donation/memorial-contributions/. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors, and caregivers who provided exceptional care to Cindy.

Cynthia (Cindy) Marie Colley will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
