DeWeese, Kelly Bert May 25, 1966 - April 12, 2025

Kelly Bert DeWeese, 58, passed away on Saturday April 12, 2025. Born on May 25, 1966, Kelly graduated from Belton High School before proudly serving in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to the Kansas City Fire Department.

Kelly found peace in the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and building things. He often spoke of the good times spent hunting with his son, Cory— memories that brought him great joy.

Kelly’s life was marked by many chapters — some happy, some challenging, and others more quiet. In his more recent years Kelly moved to Lowry City, MO where he made many great friends and liked to spend time with his brother, Kody and friend Curtis.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steven Eatinger, and his brothers, Kyle and Kody DeWeese. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Eatinger; his children, Madison, Cory, and Erin DeWeese; and many grandchildren. As well as, his siblings Kim Hawkins and brother Steve Eatinger.

A grave side service will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO on Thursday, April 17th at 2:00pm.
