Alice Fay (Garrison) Ellis was born October 4, 1965, to Arnold and Fay (Thresher) Garrison in Kansas City, MO. She was the oldest of 4 siblings. In 1982 Alice welcomed her first child, a daughter, Maria and in 1985 welcomed her son, Danny. In life Alice loved her family and lived with a close circle of love from those she chose to be with. Alice married Steven Ellis in 1993, the couple with her children and Steve’s son Andrew resided in Kansas City until May of 1995 where they relocated to Rich Hill, MO. Alice was a stay-at-home mom for several years tending to the household chores and kids. In 2001 Alice and Steve moved to a small farm in Eldorado Springs, MO where she would reside until her death. Alice found work again outside of the home in Eldorado as a CNA, working at the local nursing home and even finding work in Stockton Missouri for a short time before retiring due to a back injury. In her free time, she could be found watching her favorite shows (anything Elvis particularly) and movies in her seclusion and comfort of her home. She also enjoyed the large family gatherings at many state parks and hosting’s at their small farm. With many brother and sister-n-laws across several states, her home was the meeting point for holidays, reunions and just family time. Having lost her only sisters, she knew the blessing of Steve’s siblings, one sister-in-law Diane became a best friend and the two often shared their love for casinos together before Diane passed.
Alice is survived by her husband Steven Ellis, Daughter Maria Steuck (Darren) of Rich Hill, MO, Son Danny Garrison (Shayla) of Rich Hill, MO and stepson Andrew Ellis (Bree) of the home. Eleven grandchildren; Garren Steuck, Briley Steuck, Braelynn Steuck, Ryker Steuck, Brayden Blevins, Ryleeann Hill, TJ Garrison, Emberlee Garrison, Alayna Ellis, Violet Ellis and Nova Ellis. A brother David Garrison (Theresa) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Several sisters-in-law and a brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Cathy Garrison and Rosa Metzger.
On July 12, 2025, Alice lost her fight against several illnesses that eventually became too much for her earthly body.
