Rosetta K. Greenwell Goss passed away on December 3, 2025 at her home with her family and her partner by her side.
She was born on October 13, 1949. She was the youngest of six children born to Lawrence and Jewell Bray Greenwell.
Rosetta graduated from Lowry City High School in 1967. After graduation, she went to work for Mobile Oil from 1970 to 1975. She then went to work for the US Postal Service for 30 years, retiring from there in 2005.
She was married to James (Nick) Goss in 1970. He passed away in 1997. She moved to Osawatomie, Kansas in July of 1998, and lived there until her death.
Rosetta accepted Christ when she was 13 at Park Grove Church, where she played the piano when she was young.
She loved animals, and always had dogs and cats. She raised miniature Australian Shepherds for several years.
Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents, sister Wanda Goans, brothers Wayne and Raymond Greenwell.
She is survived by her partner Leslie Cross, brother Bill Greenwell of Lowry City, Missouri, sister Brenda Simmons and her husband Kelly of Clinton, Missouri.
She leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and many friends and family.
