Jose Ruiz Camacho was born March 18, 1973 in Acambaro Guanajuato, Mexico.
He passed away March 23, 2025, in Weaubleau, Mo.
Jose came to the United States at 17 years old and went straight to the work field. His first job was in a popcorn factory in Chicago, IL. He later found a love for farming and made Martin Prairie Farms his forever job of 30 years.
Jose married Margie (Keller) in 1997 and raised their son Miguel Keller in Weaubleau, MO.
Jose was a man who never knew a stranger. He would give the shirt right off his back if that’s what was needed. He was a simple man of kind words and a lending hand wherever and whenever it was needed with no complaints. Jose enjoyed working for the Martin family. He and the boys (other farmhands) would play pranks on each other to pass the day. He loved spending time with his family, his beloved dog Pedro, and his biggest pride and joy his grandson Rylan. You would never find one without the other. He enjoyed his daily interactions with friends at the Casey’s gas station while buying his scratch off tickets, trying to win the big one.
Jose was loved by all, he will be greatly missed.
Jose is survived by his wife Margie Camacho, their son Miguel and his wife Timbra Keller, grandson Rylan Keller, brother in-laws Jerry and Rick Keller, and so many extended work family and friends
