Larry E. Ferguson was born in Monegaw Springs, MO, on December 9, 1947, to Leo and Juanita Ferguson. He passed away at his home in Monegaw Springs on Thanksgiving, November 23, 2023.
Larry graduated from Osceola High School in 1966, and served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970.
In 1988, Larry married Debbie Cowan, and they were married 35 years. Together they enjoyed family, fishing and serving the Lord. Larry was an avid guitar player and always welcomed a chance to praise and worship the Lord.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Juanita Ferguson, sisters Shirley (Pitts) Lehmeier, Deanna Hostetter, and brother Dennis (Pete) Ferguson. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Ferguson; children Waylon Ferguson (LaDonna), granddaughter Preston Ferguson; Belinda Malara (Matt), grandson Myles Malara; Conway Ferguson (Abbey), grandchildren Cheyenne Lee, Jasmyne Boultinghouse, Sadie Woodyard, Brenna Cunningham, Alexa Ferguson, Kassandra Ferguson, Tyson Wilmes and Wayne Wilmes; Kelley Lee (Jeff), grandson Nikolas Lee; Lauren Ferguson (Liz), grandchildren Alyson Ferguson and Lukas Jones; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Visitation service will be held Friday, December 1, 2023, at Sheldon Funeral Home in Osceola, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
