Larsen, Geraldine May 2, 1926 - March 28, 2025

Geraldine Norma White Larsen, age 98, passed away March 28, 2025 in Springfield, Missouri.

Gerry was born May 2, 1926 in Stahl, Missouri. She was the third child of seven born to Thurman Orgie White and Reta May Capp White. She grew up in northern Missouri and graduated from Green City High School. After high school, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she was employed with Sears Roebuck for many years. While there, she made many lifelong friends and met the love of her life, Ben LaVern Larsen. She and Ben were married on March 16, 1951. From this union four children were born: Dennis, Mike, Debbie, and Kelly.

Gerry’s too priorities were Ben and their children. They spent as much time together as possible whether fishing, traveling, visiting other family members, or cooking for everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Junior White, Imogene Surrey, Anna Belle Bachman, and Lucille White, husband Ben, and son Dennis.

She leaves behind a sister Colleen Fleming, son Mike Larsen and wife Linda, daughter Debbie and husband Bart Bradford, and daughter Kelly Larsen. Also, grandchildren Brad Larsen, Ryan Larsen and wife Amanda, Melissa Ruscha and husband Duane. Great grandchildren Brooke and husband Bradley McCullick, Abby Larsen, Case Ruscha, Tate Ruscha, and Racin Larsen. Great-great grandchild Miles McCullick.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to a hospice or cancer organization in honor of Geraldine.
