Geraldine Joy LaRue was born December 3, 1925, in Lowry City, Missouri to Perry
Landsford Larue and Rena Evelyn Page LaRue.
She was a member of Lowry City Methodist Church. Geraldine attended 1st-5th grade at Lowry City Elementary, 6th grade at Oak Grove school near Osceola, and 7th and 8th grade in Piedmont, Kansas. She returned to Lowy City in 1939 and completed high school in 1943.
Geraldine began work at MFA Farmers Exchange the week after school was out in 1942. She worked part-time during her senior year and then full time until the business closed in 1982.
She worked from September 1982 through August 1987 at Truman Lake Manor.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents. 3 brothers; Robert Gerald, Charles Page and David Wayne, sister, Rena Frances Robbins and nephews; Randall Irmine Robbins and Ted Wayne Larue, Nieves; Shelly Waynette (LaRue) Cooper and Sherry Lynne (LaRue) Lago.
Geraldine is survived by nieces; Patricia (LaRue) Guasconi, Michele (LaRue) Corboy, Linda Susan (Robbins) Scott, Deborah Sue (LaRue) Costin, Cathy Ann (LaRue) Morgan, Susan Diane (LaRue) Rynearson and their families.
