Lauren was born January 1, 1952, in Battle Creek, Michigan. She is survived by her husband, Lowell, the love of her life for 32 years; her daughter, Cynthia Chaluisant; her stepdaughter, Amanda Csonka; her sisters Sandra Lewis and Laura (her twin) Raher; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Wilson and Gail Harness; her brother-in-law, Mike Baldwin. Her grandchildren; Vance, Ariana, Dominic, Lavon, Avia, Alena; great grandchildren; Myla and Milena. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lorin and Jean Stuck, her brother Vernon Stuck, and her good friend Sharon Brunson.
Lauren was raised in Delton, Michigan, and graduated from Delton Kellogg High School in 1970. She took a business course at Battle Creek and then on to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the next 35 years as manager for the mainframe computer department.
She retired to Collins, Missouri, where she and Lowell built their home and farm. She then got bored and went to work as a medical records and transport driver at Big Springs Nursing home. After retiring from Big Springs, she volunteered at the St. Clair County food bank and was a member of the Vista Special Road commission.
She was Lowell’s social secretary. She was very caring and took care of anyone who would let her help. She never knew a stranger. She was the neighborhood welcome wagon.
She loved fishing, Sudoku puzzles, reading, garage sales, playing games, and travel.
She was very involved with family and loved and hosted many family gatherings.
She will be missed beyond words.
