Timothy Allen Long was born on July 4, 1957, the third of seven children, to Glenn and Kathleen Long in Butler, Missouri and went to be with our Savior, Jesus Christ on December 8th, 2021, he was 64 years old. Tim, as he was known by to his family and friends, spent the majority of his life on the family farm in Collins, Missouri trying his hand at raising hogs and rabbits and later after his father passed away, he took over taking care of the cattle on the farm with his mother. In between raising and caring for the animals, Tim worked at the charcoal plant at Wheatland, Missouri as well as the Missouri Department of Transportation at Osceola and spent as much time as he could trapping and working at the fur house at Collins. He loved to fish, hunt and look for mushrooms every chance he got. In his later years in life he moved to Drexel, Missouri where he resided with his long-time companion Susan Elliott.
Tim is survived by two children, Jeremy Long and Jennifer Long and one grandson Alex Long all of Warsaw, Missouri, three brothers Kenny Long of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Toby Long of Humansville, Missouri and Keith Long of Castle Rock, Washington and one sister Cindy Proctor of Ozark, Missouri as well as thirteen nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Kathleen Long and two brothers Glenn Long III and David Long.
