Russell Bernard Lucas was born on March 17, 1959 in Dallas, Texas, to Clarence and Shirley Lucas.
Rusty enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his grandkids.
He enjoyed many activities with his sons when they were members of Scout Troop 492, in Independence, Missouri. He attended many campouts, high adventure trips, and helping with the Christmas Tree Lot.
He also enjoyed time helping and watching his grandkids in softball, baseball, wrestling, marching band, and FFA.
Rusty was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; sister, Gina (Wes) Wilson; children, Christie Lucas, David (Julie) Lucas, Bradley (Catie Tucker) Lucas; grandkids, Dakota Lucas, Tyler Lucas, Sadie Lucas, Dawson Lucas, Owen Lucas, and Callum Lucas.
