Erlene Ora Reid Nall, died unexpectedly in her sleep at home on Feb 4, 2021. She was born August 17,
1945 to Earl C. Reid and Mildred B. Heinson Reid at home on their farm in Houston, Mo. She grew up
and lived on a farm for much of her life. She graduated high school from Shawnee Mission North in
Shawnee KS.

Erlene met and married Russell D Earnshaw on May 17, 1963. To this union 3 daughters were born.
Shemene, Christine and Renee’. They divorced in 1968. She moved to Liberal Kansas to work as a
secretary at National Beef Packing Co. While there she met Warren L Nall. They married on January 25,
1972. He brought four children to this union, Angela, Pam, Tex and Teresa. A daughter was born to this
union, Brenda (Fred). They later divorced in 2012. A good friend, Charlie Ward, became a wonderful
friend and companion to Erlene until his passing in 2019.

Erlene was one of the first women truck (semi-truck) drivers, learning to drive in early 1970’s. She
hauled swinging beef and later hauled grain and livestock. She was a butcher, working for Grace &
Norman Buckmiller in Osceola MO. She was a legal secretary, owned and operated a trucking business,
worked for the United States Postal Service in Lowry City Missouri, owned and operated a restaurant
and lounge and managed the café at Wheeler & Sons Sale barn for 10 years before retiring. She lived in
Lowry City on the farm for 36 years and raised her family. She moved to Clinton Mo in 2015.

Her favorite things to do were going with her children to the fair and the American Royal, raising cattle
and hogs, traveling, dancing, going camping and fishing, canning fruits, and vegetables, cooking and
feeding everyone. She loved cooking on the smoker providing for weddings, anniversary, event for The
Shriners and 4th of July celebrations She loved the Kansas City Chiefs. She was kindhearted, loving and
had a wonderful outspoken personality. She was very blessed with many, many friends.

Erlene is preceded in death by her father and mother, daughter Renee Snider, 2 grandsons, Robert
McBride and Bradley Seuferling, and her sister Malinda Lysigner.

She is survived by her children Angela (Randy) Prike, Shemene (Burl) Peckman, Pam (Larry) Seuferling,
Chrisie (Bill) Hein, Tex (Dannette) Nall, Teresa Nall, Fred Nall. Son-in-law Richard Snider and many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
