Paul Carl Banister was born on June 10, 1953 to Paul and Cora Banister, of Newkirk, Oklahoma.
He passed away on January 27, 2026.
Paul was a truck driver and drove all across the United States. He loved to travel.
He was married a couple times in his life, Belinda Dean, Susan Sanford, Pam, and eventually found love with Anna, whom he lived out the majority of his later years. He was a father, friend, and a provider of what he could give. He had a hard childhood and did the best he could to be better for his kids. He taught us all the things we needed to know, like how to make better decisions for our families. He will be remembered for the good times and the bad, because the bad came with the biggest lessons.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Cora Banister; siblings, Pauline Simpson, Beverly Peterson, Marvin Banister, Wilma Hale, Navela Banister, and Mary Banister.
He is survived by his long time partner, Anna Williams; daughters, Ashley Hones, Patricia Rudder, and Tasha Banister; sons, Paul, Randall, and Brandon Banister; brothers, Melvin and Frank Banister; many grandchildren he never met.
