Phyllis Ann Wagner, 84, Lowry City, Missouri, passed away on March 13, 2026, at her home. She was born on June 16, 1941, in Redding, Iowa, to Frank and Helen Frost.

Throughout her life, Phyllis was known for her strong love of family, her warm heart, and the joy she found in spending time with those she loved most.

She was a devoted mother to her three children: Rick, David, and Diane. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her endless pride and happiness.

Phyllis loved hosting family gatherings, where laughter, good food, and stories filled the room. She was especially known for her baking cookies, her homemade rolls, noodles, and homemade treats for family and friends. She had a special way of remembering each person’s favorite treat, making sure to have for them. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, love, and many cherished memories.

As a Christmas tradition, she would get each grandchild, then great grandchildren, a special ornament with the year on it. Small treasures that now hold even greater meaning.

When she wasn’t surrounded by family, she could often be found tending to her yard and flowers. Something she took great pride in. She also enjoyed spending time with friends playing cards, sharing laughs, and creating lasting memories.

She was an enthusiastic fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Kansas City Royals. One of her greatest joys was attending her grandchildren’s, then great grandchildren’s activities. Whether it was a game or something else, she was proud to be there cheering them on.

While our hearts were not ready to say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Phyllis is reunited with her Savior. She will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to her family, and the love she shared so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created with those she loved will live on forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen Frost; brother, Raymond Lee Frost; half-brother, Dean Ray; son-in-law, Bill Murray.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Rick Wagner, David Wagner, and Diane Murray, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends, who will forever cherish her memory.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lowry City Library, left in care of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home P.O. Box 384 Osceola, Missouri 64776.
