Thelma Fay (Calvert) Quick was born on March 16, 1933 to Elza C. and Mary Elizabeth (Gurtner) Calvert in Seton Township, Illinois. She passed away at Golden Years Retirement Home in Harrisonville, MO on July 15, 2021 at the age of 88.
Thelma had many jobs in the service industry from being a waitress, cook and even owner of a café. She always worked for others and was a CNA upon her retirement. Out of all these jobs there was only one job she was more proud of and that was being the mother to Melvin (Linda) Tabor of Creighton, MO, Billy Ray Tabor of Windsor, MO, and Vicki (Chuck) Tripod of Harrisonville, MO. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Linda Calvert, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Quick, son Steven Carl Quick, siblings Stanley (Virginia) Calvert, Bob (Pauline) Calvert, Howard (Wilma) Calvert, Les (Margie) Calvert, Ronald (Pete) Calvert, Susie (Don) Switzer, daughter-in-law Carol Tabor and her significant other Gary Evans.
