It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Randy Eaton on July 10, 2026,at the age of 69. Randy left this world peacefully in a rocking chair on the porch of a big farmhouse in the country, a fitting farewell for a man who cherished the simple yet profound joys of life. He was born on March 20, 1957, in Independence, Missouri to the loving parents Georgie and Bob Eaton.

Randy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Georgie and Bob Eaton, his cherished wife of 44 years, Cathy M. Eaton, and his brother Gary Eaton. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his daughter, Cassandra A. Eaton, and his son, Randy T. Eaton, both residing in Springfield, Missouri. His spirit will continue to shine through his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

On December 17, 1977, Randy married the love of his life, Cathy, in Kansas City, Missouri. Together , they crafted a life overflowing with laughter and love. Their marriage stood as a testament to unwavering dedication and partnership.

Randy’s education took root in Rockville, Missouri, before he moved to Kansas City. There, he blossomed into a skilled and passionate arborist, eventually becoming the owner and operator of Ozark Tree and Lawn Care. His career spanned 43 years, during witch he built a successful business through hard work, integrity, and a genuine love for the outdoors.

Randy was a man of many interests. His happiest moments were spent under the open sky, whether he was fishing, hunting for mushrooms, riding horses, or singing his heart out at karaoke. An avid motorcyclist, he loved the sense of freedom that came with each ride. His smile was a beacon of warmth, and his witty personality could light up any room. Known for his generous heart and kind spirit, Randy had a rare gift for making everyone feel like a friend.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out with thoughts, prayers, and condolences. Your kindness and support during this difficult time means the world to them.

In keeping with Randy’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Randy’s memory consider donating to charity of their choice.
