On April 1, 1936, in Higginsville, MO, a baby boy was born to Ora Reynolds and
Lourine Kuester Reynolds. They named him Roger Wilson Reynolds. He was the youngest of
three children. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. In 1955 Roger graduated
from Northeast High School in Kansas City, MO. After high school he married Patricia Smith
and had two sons, Kevin and Gregory. They later divorced. In 1961, he met Glenora Allene
Hobbs. They married on July 21, 1961. To this union five children were born, Susan, Todd,
Tammy, Shelly, and Sheila. Roger served in the United States Army and was a union carpenter
for 62 years 8 months, a union organizer, and continued to work construction jobs through out
his life. He was called home on June 21, 2025 at 89 years old.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Edgar Reynolds, his sister Elizabeth
Gramlich, his daughter Susan Green, and his wife Glenora.
He is survived by his four children Todd Reynolds of Springfield MO, Tammy Milburn of
Bolivar MO, Shelly Maphies of Jerico Springs and Sheila Reynolds of Jerico Springs, 10
grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
