Robert Lee Truitt March 11, 1937 - January 14, 2026

Robert Lee Truitt, 88, Humansville, Missouri, passed away on January 14, 2026.

He was born on March 11, 1937, in Collins, Missouri.  He was the 3rd of 4 children born to Cecil and Opal Truitt.

Robert was active in the St. Clair County Cattlemen’s  Association, Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, Missouri Beef Council, Missouri Farm Bureau, FFA Alumni, and MFA association.

He never knew a stranger. He could talk to anyone, about nothing, for hours.

Robert wasn’t just a farmer, but a steward of the earth. He was a keeper of traditions, and a man whose life was measured not in years alone, but in seasons, harvests, and the countless lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Opal Truitt; siblings, Joyce Borchardt and husband Ken, Wayne Truitt and wife Darlene, Shirley Keller, and husband Lloyd.

Robert is survived by his nieces and nephews, Greg Borchardt, Kim Hammer and husband Dennis, Jeff Borchardt, Dianne Truitt, Debbie Anderson, Denise Wheeler, Allan Keller and wife Gala, Randy Keller and wife Eileen, Jean Stiles and husband Gary, Don Keller, and Steve Keller and wife Cassandra.
