Barbara Jean Dutcher Robertson was born November 25, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, to W.E. Dutcher (Jr) & Grace Dutcher (Malicoat). She was the youngest of three children, although her brother Larry swears he is younger than her.
She passed away on January 4th 2025 at Research Medical Center. Just seven years (to the day) after her beloved mother went to be with the lord. It brings us peace knowing they have reunited at last.
Barbie doll, Dutch, Mother Bird, Nanny, and Grandma Barb are just a few of the names she was known for and we are sure there are more we can’t remember to list. Barb was easily one of the very best scratch cooks around and if you have ever tried her fried chicken, or anything that she cooked up, you’d soon find yourself asking for more.
She worked many jobs over the years, but was most well known as an amazing restaurant cook, or typesetter at Sac-Osage publishing, which she did for many many years.
She is survived by one brother, Larry and wife Pam Dutcher of Roscoe Missouri, her four children, Clint & wife, Kerri Dutcher of Appleton City Missouri, Paul Robertson of Osceola Missouri, Kimmie & husband, Jake Beaty of Monegaw Springs Missouri, and Jacob & wife Sierra Robertson of Monegaw Springs Missouri, and six grand-children, Logan, Brady, Steven, Waylon, Addison, and Amelia as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and more friends than we would ever be able to list.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Frank & Alma Malicoat, her Father W.E. Dutcher (Jr), her mother Grace Dutcher, one brother Harold Dutcher, life long partner Joe Crenshaw, and one grandson Jeremiah Robertson.
She has made so many wonderful memories over the years with friends and family (some that maybe we better not share) and she will continue to make people smile as they reflect on the beautiful, fierce person that she was. So this isn’t goodbye mama, this is see you later.
