Terrell Nathan Shirk was born September 30, 1958 in Nevada, MO to Brian “Smokey” and Ruby M. (Keeton) Shirk. He passed away December 3, 2010 at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.
Terrell served his country in the US Army for six years. For three of those years he was a cook. Terrell enjoyed hitchhiking and crossed many states. He loved children and one time dressed as a clown, went to town and handed out pennies to all the children he saw. He was a handyman and could fix about anything. Terrell spent several years in the state of Washington. He very much enjoyed his time there.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brian in 1973 and his grandparents, John and Grace Keeton and Orville and Evelyn Shirk. Terrell is survived by his mother, Ruby (Keeton) Shirk, one brother, Morgan King Shirk both of Osceola, MO and one brother, Kimball Clark Shirk and wife, Lynn of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Bonnie and husband Calvin, Clinton, MO, one daughter, Gwen and three grandchildren, one son, Brad Hamilton, El Dorado Springs, MO; three nieces, one nephew, three great nephews and four great nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.
A memorial service will be held sometime in January. Cremation under direction of the Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola, MO.
