Leroy Robert Suiter was born on January 8, 1948 in Aberdeen
South Dakota to Ester Huepel and Robert Suiter. He passed
away in his home on May 10, 2024 in El Dorado Springs
Missouri at the age of 76.
Leroy grew up and went to school in Aberdeen where he later
graduated. He went to work in the traveling sales industry for
many years where he sold everything from insurance to
vacuum cleaners . At that time he was married to his first wife
Barbara and to that union Dawn and Jesse Suiter were born.
Leroy raised his children on his own and migrated to
California in the 1970’s where he went to work with his
brother at his printing shop in the Los Angeles area. Later, he
settled in Apple Valley California where he served as the
Maintenance Director of the schools and retired from there
after many years of service. In the fall of 2013, Leroy met
Connie and they married September 19, 2014. In April of
2016, they packed up and moved to El Dorado Springs,
Missouri and lived their “happily ever after”. Leroy was often
referred to as Bear, which was a nickname given to him by his
Grandma Huepel. He loved his horses and Harley’s and made
15 consecutive annual trips to Sturgis South Dakota for their
bike rally. His children were his biggest pride. He learned so
many lessons through them.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert and Esther
Suiter, his daughter Dawn Suiter, sister Harriet, Judy, brother
Jerry.
He is survived by his son Jesse, wife Connie of the home,
sister Kathleen, and brother Roger along with many nieces,
nephews and other family members.
Leroy had a fantastic outlook on life and will be remembered
for his smile, great spirit and the joy that he brought with him.

October 9, 2024 at 2:08 pmI went to school with Leroy in Aberdeen I remember the old car he drove. I remember his dad. I talked to him years ago on the phone I thought then he was living in California. I am so sorry for his lost God Bless
