Opal Darlene Ticknor, 69, of Osceola passed away on June 22, 2010 at her home in Osceola.
Opal was formerly of North Kansas City. She graduated high school from North Kansas City and worked as a seamstress for many years in the Kansas City area. Opal worked for businesses such as the Chocolate Shop, Big Smith and Unitog in Clinton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Winfield Carl Sauer and Ida Merle Cook and husband Paul Ticknor.
Opal is survived by two sons, Paul and wife Kathy of Osceola; Raymond and wife Sue of Nixa, two sisters, Bonnie Lee of Connecticut; Jody Knighton of Platte City; four grandchildren, Aaron Ticknor, Heather Ticknor, Katy Ticknor and Jessie Ticknor, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Friends may visit the family at the Trade Fair Mall located on Hwy 13 south of Osceola.
