Janice Marie Tucker was born May 10, 1942 to Anthony and El Nora (Nowalski) Kowalski. Janice passed away July 23, 2025 at the age of 83.
Janice married Ted on February 11, 1961. They were blessed with three children: Christopher, Kenneth and Maria. They made their home in Coldwater, Michigan, until 1999 when they moved to El Dorado Springs, Missouri.
Janice was active in Martial Arts and spent many hours teaching children and teens in the community as she was very adamant about them learning to defend themselves. Ted was very involved in her training and practice and had many fun stories to tell about it. Janice also spent many years driving a school bus for the El Dorado Springs School District. In her later years she enjoyed making elaborate greeting cards by hand and sharing them with folk she cared about. She made as many as 30 a month. She was a very creative lady. Her home displayed an abundance of giraffe memorabilia she enjoyed collecting through the years and we would like to share one with you as a memory of Janice to have in your home.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, her younger brother Jerome Kowalski, and the love of her life, Ted.
Janice is survived by her children, Christopher Tucker Sr., Kenneth Tucker and Maria Xavier; her 6 grandsons, Christopher Tucker Jr., Kory Tucker, Elric Tucker, Jeffrey Tucker, Jeffery Xavier and Matthew Xavier, and numerous great-grandkids.
Memorial contributions may be made to the El Dorado Springs School “Milk Fund” in memory of the beloved bus driver Janice Tucker
