Charles Wayne Ulbright was born July 29, 1949 in Polo, Missouri to Ralph Charles Ulbright and Doris (Orr) Ulbright. He passed away at his home near Collins, Missouri February 28, 2020.
He grew up in Polo, Missouri and graduated from Polo Highschool in 1967. Wayne worked for 25 years at the Ray County Memorial Hospital, later retiring and moving to Collins, Missouri where he lived the remainder of his life. He then went to work for Kottwitz Farm Supply and Feed Store in Osceola, Missouri until his death.
Wayne loved his animals and horses and livestock devoting most of his life to them. He loved to garden, farm and cook. He made very good hot rolls. Wayne enjoyed going bowling and was on a bowling league at Nemo, Missouri for many years with family and friends. Wayne met and became friends with many people there.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandparents. He is survived by his only sibling, Barbara Ulbright (Judy Stanley) of Donna, Texas; many cousins, aunts, family, neighbors, friends and one lifelong friend, David Vermillion. Wayne will be truly missed.
