Terry Lee Wagner, 77, passed away on August 19, 2025, in Portland, Missouri. Born on January 30, 1948, in Missouri, Terry lived a life marked by dedication to his work, service to his country, and a deep appreciation for tradition and community.
Terry proudly served in the United States Army, embodying a strong sense of patriotism. Following his military service, he built a career with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where he specialized in agricultural resources.
After retiring from public service, Terry pursued his passion for firearms and craftsmanship, becoming a well known gunsmith among enthusiasts and collectors. As a skilled gunsmith, he took great pride in his work and was respected for his knowledge and precision.
Terry found joy in many pursuits. He appreciated the cultural richness of pow-wows and mountain man rendezvous, and the community spirit they offered. He enjoyed preparing food and sharing meals with others, music that stirred memories and emotions, and the thrill of NASCAR racing and old school pro wrestling.
Terry is remembered with love by his daughters and grandchildren, and leaves behind family and friends who shared in his journey through life. He was preceded in death by his brother, parents, grandparents, as well as his aunt and uncle.
