Jack Albert Williams Sr., 80, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Jack was born on July 3, 1941, to Delbert and Thelma Williams in Camdenton, Missouri. Jack moved to Lowery City where he met the love of his life, Beverly Jane Tracy. They were united in marriage in 1958 and later moved to the Kansas City area. They celebrated 54 years of marriage and had three children, Sheryll, Jack and Traci.
Jack worked multiple jobs in the Kansas City area before he began a 45-year career at National Starch and Chemical where he worked as a maintenance technician, before his retirement at age 62. After retirement, Jack and Beverly enjoyed traveling the country and wintering with friends and family in Texas. He had many other hobbies throughout his life that included camping, bowling, yard work, shooting pool and playing cards. Jack also found companionship with his dogs Daisy and Amos.
Jack joined Heartland Church in 2013 and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a faithful member and loved his church family. He regularly attended Sunday services, Bible study and Ironmen ministry.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Williams; sisters, Madeline Webb, Eleanor Hesser and Eunice Eudella Williams; and brothers, James Williams, Delbert (Pete) Williams Jr., Leslie Chambless, William (Gaines) Chambless, Jess Williams, Samuel (Wayne) Williams, Frankie Williams, and Herschel Williams; and grandson, Chad Sappenfield.
He is survived by his children, Sheryll and Jack Thomas, Jack and Dina Williams and Traci Lambert; grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Alicia Bacus, Sara Sappenfield, Samantha Williams, Joshua Bacus, Dustin Bacus and Brianna Williams, brother Gilbert and Margaret Williams, 10 great grandchildren and many extended family members.
