Lonnie Dee Wilson also known as Gumpy was born on May 21, 1944, in Wheatland, Missouri to Hugh and Oka (Cutler) Wilson. He passed away August 24, 2024, at his home in Vista, Missouri with his wife and daughter by his side.
In 1967, Lonnie met Jackie Baldwin and soon married. To this union a precious baby girl was born, DeNelda. Lonnie served two years in the United States Army. In November of 1977 he went to work for the U.S. Postal Service and worked his way up to a full-time carrier. He retired in 2004.
Lonnie is survived by his wife Jackie of the home, daughter DeNelda and significant other Brian of Vista, MO, brothers-in-law: Lowell Baldwin and wife Lauren, and Mike Baldwin, sister-in-law Gail Harness, as well as many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oka and Hugh Wilson, his brother Charlie and sister-in-law Irene, and brother-in-law Larry Harness.
