Wright, Sharon

Sharon Wright of Lowry City, Missouri passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 74. She was born in Fairfield, Iowa to Carl and Maxine Wymore.
Sharon attended high school in Oskaloosa, Iowa the class of 1968. In Iowa she worked as a waitress, then she lived in California and got a job as a nurse’s aide. Moving back to the Midwest, she met and married her husband, Jim Wright of Lowry City, Missouri. She became a farmer, working beside her husband in the fields for several years. Sharon decided to take Criminal law and Justice at CMSU in Warrensburg, Missouri. In 1984 she began her career as a Deputy Sheriff at St Clair County, and Henry County, Missouri. In 1993 she went to work as a Juvenile Officer at the 27th Judicial Circuit Court she worked in three counties, Henry, Bates, and St Clair Counties. Sharon retired in 2010.
Now for the fun part of life, camping, and visiting with family and friends! Sharon also loved mailing cards to all of us for every holiday, anniversary, and birthday. Many of us have blankets she made for us. She adored her Grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and pets (Dink, Pepper, Sammy…)
Sharon is survived by her husband, Jim Wright; son, Larry (Sue) Wright; daughters, Janie Tindall and Donna (Randy) Pollom; Brother, Jimmy (Charity) Wymore; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Dena Wright; parents, Carl & Maxine Wymore; brothers, Bob and Larry Wymore.
