Bendt, Betsy G. July 15, 1959 - August 27, 2022

Betsy Bendt was born July 15, 1959, in Canon City, Colorado to Clark Edward Emond and Verlena Gay (Bailey) Emond. She passed away August 27, 2022, at her home in Osceola, Missouri.

Betsy went to school and graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School in 1977. She married Beagle Bendt in Pleasant Hill, Missouri on February 28, 1981, to this Union 2 children were born: Jeremy David Bendt of Osceola, and Tisha (Jim) Crowder of Osceola, Missouri. Her love for her family was undeniable, especially her grandbabies: Danyka and Dylan Bendt of Canon City, Colorado and Christopher (Emily) Williams of Independence, their baby boy Grayson, as well as Sage Marie Crowder and Leah Grace Crowder of Osceola, Missouri. Her favorite thing was to be called Mamma.

Betsy and Beagle worked hard all throughout their lives together including the years they worked for Chuck’s Disposal. Beagle drove the truck while Mamma did the throwing. She was a hard-working woman who loved the outdoors. She loved to fish, and hunt arrowheads. One thing was always for certain, you could find her cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs during football season. She was a die hard fan her whole life.

Everyone was always welcome at Mammas house. Her girls: Sage and Leah stole her heart, as she loved playing babies with them, or teaching them to cook. She always pushed them to keep going and play all the sports they could. She was their number one fan. Mamma was there for all her kids, and grandkids, she was always someone they could count on, including when she was needed to help love and care for Kyle, Colton and Jaden when the time came. She never complained about helping her family out, she was the rock they all leaned on.

Betsy met Ronnie Elliott and they shared a home and many memories for 23 years. She loved her fur-babies: Biscuit, Harley, Minnie and Mary-Jane just to name a few. Her heart was big and overflowed with fullness.

Betsy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her love Ronnie Elliott, her brothers: Eddie Emond of Missouri, Aaron Emond of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Robbie Emond of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Clark Dale Emond of Osceola, Missouri, and Richard Emond of Canon City, Colorado. Her sister Elaine Emond of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, son, Jeremy Bendt of Osceola, his children Danyka and Dylan of Canon City, Colorado, daughter Tisha (Jim) Crowder of Osceola, their children: Christopher (Emily) Williams of Independence, Missouri, their baby Grayson, Sage Crowder, Leah Crowder as well as many nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
