From childhood, Neva was a member of Kidd’s Chapel Church and remained active there until October, 2000, when she entered Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, sharing the family history, and she was a gracious hostess, always ready to welcome anyone to her home. Neva was a beloved granddaughter, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dora Frisby, her parents, Alma and Joe Bieser, two sisters, Evelyn Purvis and Bernice Bieser, and a nephew, Donald Lee Purvis. Survivors include three nieces, Jane Campbell of St. Joseph, Missouri; Nancy Bowles and her husband Larry of Miller, Missouri; and Marsha Still and her husband Larry of Carthage, Missouri; three great-nephews, Rick Campbell and his wife Trisha of St. Joseph, Missouri; Philip Bowles and his wife Christina of Springfield, Missouri; and Barry Still and his wife Kim of Columbia, Missouri; two great-nieces, Rebecca Killingsworth and her husband Chad of Springfield, Missouri; and Carrie Still of Carthage, Missouri; and two great-great-nieces, Seanna and Briley Campbell of St. Joseph, Missouri.
