Bonito, Robert April 17, 1943 - June 15, 2015

Robert Bonito, 72, was born April 17, 1943 in Hartford, Connecticut to Angelo and Blanche Bonito. Bob passed away June 15, 2015 peacefully at home with his wife Mary at his side. He loved life and llived it to the fullest. He lived his young life in Maine, then in the 1960s left home to work on the Alaskan pipeline for a short time. He then moved to Palm Springs, California where he worked at a Country Club and met many movie stars. Then he moved to the South Bay California area and started his career as a self employed custom cabinet maker with beautiful wood working skills and his last job was as a hospital engineer/maintenance man before his retirement in 1994. Bob met the love of his life Mary Eileen Dougan in 1980 and they have been ewnseperable ever since. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 10, 1982. They moved to Osceola in 1995 and found their little piece of heaven here on earth. Bob was his happiest here in Osceola. He is preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Blanche; sister and brother-in-law Rosie and Morris Brann; brothers, Angelo, Joe and Anthony Bonito; mother and father-in-law Virginia and Roy Dougan. Bob is survived by his wife Mary of 32 years; 2 daughters, Julie of Maine, Leslie of California; son, Brent of California; brother, Mike (Mick) and Doreen Bonito of Connecticut; brother-in-laws Tom and wife Marge Dougan of Florida, Pat and wife Nancy Dougan of West Virginia and Jim Dougan of California; special friends Dale and Judy White of Lowry City, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, friends and of course his loving dogs and cats.
