Ray Edward Bozarth was born August 25, 1938 to John and Lois Mildred (Rickman) Bozarth.

Ray was baptized as a child and continued to grow in his faith as he was an active member of the Pape Christian Church and song leader.  He began his education at Tiffin and attended through the 8th grade. Ray graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in as the Salutatorian of the class of 1956.

Ray went to work at age 15 for Witt Printing as a janitor and advanced to president of Witt Engineering. Later, he ran his own Agri -business and sold livestock feed and irrigation supplies.

Judy and Ray married May 8, 1979. In 1992, Ray and Judy moved to Tiffin and bought his great aunt Mildred Porter’s place. They remodeled it and resided their until his death.

Ray was a 50  year plus member of the Masonic lodge and carried the name of Master at one point. Ray spoke highly of the 18 years as cub scout leader and told many sweet and funny stories about teaching baseball to the little kids.

Ray was president of the Lions Club  and took active part until his health declined. He was also a member of the TOPS cub and soon became a KOPS and became the chapter king.  His favorite job was driving the tour bus. People loved him and he knew so much about the area. He would pick up people from  the Springfield Airport and would entertain for 6 days with adventures to Branson and Eureka springs. One time, because of being requested so frequently, he work 67 consecutive days.  He later sold real estate and loved matching people with properties. Due to health he discontinued and then went to work for Randy Sheldon.. Ray was not afraid of work and deeply loved it.

Ray leaves behind Judy of the home, 6 children David Lee of Eldo, Mark Hall (Lisa) of Olathe KS, Brent Edward (Kelly) of New Port California,  L. Lane Cutler (Glynda) of Ft. Scott KS, LaVeitta L. Cutler of Eldo, Leafyia Smith (Brian) of Monet, MO.

13 Grand children, Angela Hupert (Nick) of Mooresburg, TN, Amy Thomas (Ian) of Arvada, CO, Ashley Bozarth of Arvada, CO, Amber Evanston of Sterling, CO, L. Cody Cutler (Stachia)  of Ft. Scott, KS, Dustin Lane (Olivia) of Ozark MO, Joshua Bozarth of Olathe, KS, Nathaniel Bozarth (Monica) of Kansas City MO, CJ Steele (Ashley) Nevada MO, Raven Dupree (Isiah) Jacksonville FL, Rose Wilson (David) Phoenix AZ, Keith Smith (Ashley) Kansas city MO, Samantha Hawkins (Zack) of El Dorado Springs MO, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grand children.

Ray had a true love for people. He loved to serve and loved to bring smiles to the faces of  others, be it through a joke or a prayer. He will be greatly missed.
