Danny Paul Burns was born June 05,1949 in rural Newburg, Missouri to Daniel Isaac Burns and Iris Elizabeth Funke Kraft Burns. He passed away in El Dorado Springs, Missouri October 14, 2019.
He was united in marriage to Sherry Ann Lanear Kraft on April 30, 1980. This union was blessed with 1 son 2 step sons and 1 step daughter.
Danny served proudly in the United States Army April 9, 1969 to November 11, 1970. He served in South Vietnam from November, 1969 to November, 1970. He loved his country and said he would do it again even though he suffered from Agent Orange lung cancer.
He loved living in the country and loved hunting and fishing and his family and friends. Danny worked for Cass Midway Schools for 6 years. Then for the City of Osceola as RV Park Manager for 14 years. After which he went to work at El Dorado Springs Schools as Custodial Supervisor From January 2006 until his health forced him to retire in April 2011.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Iris Burns; brothers George Franklin Kraft, Johnny Allen Kraft and William Edward Burns and his wife Linda Lou Burns, and one great-grandson Gage Alexander Kraft.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Ann Burns of the home; son Anthony Dean Kraft Urbana, MO; step-sons Johnny Alan Kraft and Nova of Freeman, MO, Paul Edward Kraft and Crystal of Jonesboro, AR; step-daughter Cheryl Diane Kraft of Collins, MO.; brothers David Lee Burns (Linda) of Troy, MO, Charles Eugene Kraft (Judy) of Troy, MO; Sister: Rebecca Ann Hogue (James) ; sister-in-laws Ruth Ann LaCerda ofTroy, MO, Wanda Thompson of Collins, MO and Pam Kraft; grandchildren, Trenton Cameron, Logan Kraft, Johnny Paul Kraft, Jacob Alan Kraft (Lauren), Lane Allen Kraft, Zachary Thomas Kraft, Chelsie Marie Kraft, Timothy Wayne Kraft (Tanya), Kayla Marie Troxel (Nick), Jessica Lynn Kraft, Robert Allen Kraft (Kelly), Anna Marimon-Kraft; great-grand children, Harper Elaine, Sophie, Brendon, Dawson, Maeson, Hunter, Hayden, Kyra, Brooklyn, Aiden and Mia Kraft along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends.
