Richard James Carson was born January 1, 1947 in Little Blue, Missouri to Vernon Carson and Wanda Mae (Henderson) Carson. He passed away November 13, 2019 in Bolivar, Missouri.
He loved motorcycles and went on many different benefit runs on his motorcycle including honoring his family in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Bike Run, Toys for Tots, Poker runs for the Humansville and Weaubleau schools and leading the Fall Festival Parade on his bike.
Richard was one of the founding members of the Humansville Community Betterment Association and was very proud of their work building Habitat Houses.
He had a competitive nature whether it be with arm wrestling, playing pool, cards or other games. Richard also had a creative mind. He was known to draw caricatures and paint landscapes. Richard also used that creativity to build a big toy box just because his baby girl asked him too.
Richard is survived by his wife Harlana Carson, of the home; 1 daughter, Dawn Marie Watson; 1 brother, David Carson; 2 sisters, Verna Davolt and Margaret Carson; 1 half brother, Billy Carson and 3 grandchildren, Beam, Isaiah and Hannah.
