Pamela Ann Casteel was born December 30, 1938, to Fred and Thelma (Rowland) Ferguson in El Centro, California. She passed away January 21, 2017 at her home near Roscoe, Missouri
The family moved to San Diego when she was 2 years old. Her older brother, Fred, and a younger sister, Jackie, joined them three years later. She graduated from Pt. Loma High School in 1957, and upon graduation she started working for General Dynamics in San Diego, California.
Her job took her to Abilene, Texas in 1961 where she met her husband, Darrell Casteel. They married August 3, 1962, and moved back to San Diego for a short time. Their son, Michael, was born in San Diego in 1963. Pam and Darrell soon left the hustle and bustle of California to settle back in Belton, Missouri. They welcomed a daughter, Christina (Christy), in 1966. They raised Mike and Christy in Belton, and then moved to Osceola in 1994 to retire.
Pam enjoyed quilting and was active in the Lowry City Quilting Guild. She had three grandchildren who were the light of her life: David, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Allyssa and Lilah, of San Diego, California.
