Chiles, William “Bill” C. December 7, 1949 - February 10, 2018

William Clifford Chiles age 68 of rural Osceola passed away peacefully on February 10, 2018 in Clinton, Missouri surrounded by love and family. The son of Clifford and Evelyn (Cline) Chiles, Bill was born in Clinton, Missouri December 7, 1949. He attended and graduated from Lowry City High School in 1968. On May 14, 1969 he married his high school sweetheart, Glenda Sue James and to this union 1 son was born, Rich Chiles.

A lifelong dream came true in 2014 Bill designed and with the help of a cousin built a log cabin. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun smithing, gardening, working on the cabin and being with friends. On December 15th, Bill was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. He spent the final few weeks of his life reminiscing with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Clifford, Jr., younger brother, David and sister-in-law, Kris.

Bill is survived by his son, Rich (Chanda) Chiles and daughter, Kristin (Dan) Jones and six grandchildren, Seth (Lindsay) Chiles, Cade Chiles, Nakiya, Denysha, Jakery and Jacoby Jones. Also surviving are his sister, Sandra and brother-in-law David Cox; 3 nephews, 1 niece, 6 great nephews, 4 great nieces and many other relatives and friends.
