Charles was born in Osceola, Mo on January 3, 1954 to Margaret and James Collins. He Passed away on November 1, 2021 in Joplin, Mo. He is Preceded in death by his wife Nancy Collins, his parents, and his brother Wayne Schaffer. He is Survived by his Son Ronald Hanna, his wife Melinda Hanna, his Grandson Matthew Hanna all of Joplin, MO. He is also survived by his brother James Collins (Clinton, MO), Sisters Sadie Settles (Deepwater, MO), Delores Carroll (Clinton, MO), Louise Breeden (Clinton, MO), and Linda Lonkert (Kansas City, MO).
Charles was a very hard worker and never afraid to do what ever job needed to be done to provide for his family. He had such jobs as a trash man for Wagner trash service and working a factory at Thorco Manufacturing in Lamar, MO. During his later years his days were filled with hanging out with his grandson. They would get up in the mornings during the summer and go to the local cafe for breakfast and he would always take him to school and pick him up.
